We make our all-natural, organic iodine supplements using one simple ingredient: 100% sustainably wild harvested ascophyllum seaweed, sourced from remote areas in Britain and the Nordic region.

NATURALLY EFFECTIVE INGREDIENTS

Our seaweed is not only super rich in iodine, but is brimming with all the necessary trace* minerals and micronutrients to deliver and metabolise iodine, including selenium, tyrosine, zinc, copper, vitamins A, B2, B3, B6 and C. Essentially, this means your body can absorb it easily.

In-keeping with the biomass assessments in all areas of harvesting, only the top 14 inches of the seaweed is cut. After cutting, we don’t return to that location for 4 years, just to be sure we don’t affect the ecosystem. In fact, even the air we use to gently dry the seaweed is geothermally heated. This minimises the use of fossil fuels.

This is wild-harvested using cutters, not dredging, which means the seabed is not affected. And when it comes to harvesting operations, we work with local communities across all areas of production.

Organic ascophyllum seaweed is harvested sustainably from remote coastal regions, by only cutting the top 14 inches and not returning to the same site for 4 years.

Prepared

The seaweed is gently dried using low temperature geothermally warmed air circulation. The dried seaweed is then milled into a fine powder.

Tested

The seaweed powder is then sent to a third party UKAS accredited lab for nutritional, contamination, pesticide, microbial, allergen and other analysis.

Encapsulated

Finally, once the seaweed powder has passed all testing we encapsulate it into our vegecaps.
